Why maple

Why athletes love maple

Maple is about 1:1 glucose to fructose. Two sugars, two gut pathways, more fuel absorbed than glucose alone. Gels are engineered to hit that mix. Maple is born with it.

Get Salty
  • About 1:1 glucose to fructose
  • Potassium, magnesium and zinc, naturally
  • Tapped sap, boiled down. Nothing synthetic.
Tastes like maple, not medicine

“It didn't sit heavy like most gels would. It was easy to take down and not overwhelming with sweetness. Perfect for long runs.”

Questions, answered

What's the carb and electrolyte breakdown?

Each packet delivers 27g carbs, 280mg sodium, and 90mg potassium, dialed to match what you're actually burning and sweating out, not just sugar for the sake of it.

Will it upset my stomach?

We make Salty Syrup without the gums, sugar alcohols, and artificial sweeteners commonly linked to GI discomfort during long efforts. The most common gel complaints trace back to maltodextrin and fructose blends. Our carb source is organic maple, one ingredient your body already knows.

When should I take it?

Most athletes take 2 packets per hour during moderate efforts, and up to 3 per hour during heavier sweating or more extreme endurance events. Take with water. Start with what works for your gut and adjust from there.

How much caffeine is in the Caffeinated?

50 mg of natural caffeine from organic guarana per packet, about half a cup of coffee. The OG has none.

How does the subscription work?

Pick a pack and a cadence. The free packets come in every box, the price never changes, and you can skip, swap caffeine or cancel in one click from your account.
